Another month has passed and it’s time for another monthly favorites post. I only have one month left in Knoxville, and come August 3rd, I’ll be off to Columbia to spend my sophomore year at Carolina. This month has been full of so many emotional ups & downs and very exciting things happening on the blog!
I’ve decided to kind of re-brand my monthly favorites posts. A few months ago I added a life update segment and now I’m adding a monthly stats segment! We’re going to call this little monthly post monthly recaps from now on because it’s turned into way more than just my five favorites from the past month. Hope you don’t mind the new addition!
Nail polish has two moods. It’ll be cooperative and will last for upwards of a week, or it’ll want to ruin your life and chip within a day or two. I always feel like I’m wasting so much of my time painting my nails because I end up having to repaint them every two or three days! I’d had enough of that and sought after a way to make my nail polish last.
Browsing through the Internet and Pinterest one day, I stumbled across this product that everyone RAVES about. It’s an easy and inexpensive way to achieve long lasting nails at home. What is it, you may be asking?
We’ve made it to the end of another month, and you know what that means! It’s monthly favorites time! As I say every month, this past month has been insanely busy and I can’t believe it’s almost June. Wasn’t Christmas just yesterday? May is by far one of my favorite months. It signifies the end of the school year, the beginning of summer, and happy hour Sonic slushy runs. Alright well let’s stop talking about how fast life is moving and let’s get right into my May favorites!
As I said before, this month has been crazy. I honestly can’t believe it’s been ONE YEAR since I graduated high school. In some ways it feels like high school was decades ago, but it also feels like it was just last week. At the beginning of the month I finished all of my finals and moved out of my dorm. Ummm so how on Earth is April already over?! I feel like in college the days just fly by, and I really don’t know how to feel about it. But, because April is over, that means it’s May and May means summer! I honestly can’t wait to move home for the summer. Oh! And that means my newsletter launch is getting closer and closer! Hello friends! Wow, another month has passed. I honestly still feel like I graduated high school like last week, but umm yeah that was almost a year ago. It’s crazy how time flies! This month was full of adventures and fun times. Again, just like last month, I’m including a monthly recap which is just below the cover picture. So, let’s get in to my monthly favorites!
March was such a fun and exciting month! I traveled all by myself to Denver, Colorado, for spring break and had a blast! I also only have about five more weeks of school left so that’s super exciting! KEEP READING “March Favorites”
Spring has sprung! Well, here in Columbia, SC, spring came back at the end of February with 70 degree temperatures, chirping birds, and blooming flowers. As I’ve gotten older, I think I appreciate each season more and more, and this year, spring has been my favorite! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you may know about my slight obsession with nail polish. I love theming my nail polish around the season, and spring is truly my favorite. The pastels, the whites, and the light and bright shades! Check out my spring nail polish must-haves!
For me, I like to splurge on the higher end nail polishes for my fingers. I find that they last so much longer and don’t have the tendency to chip as quick as the cheaper, drugstore alternatives. KEEP READING “Perfect Nail Polish for Spring”
