Ummm so how on Earth is April already over?! I feel like in college the days just fly by, and I really don’t know how to feel about it. But, because April is over, that means it’s May and May means summer! I honestly can’t wait to move home for the summer. Oh! And that means my newsletter launch is getting closer and closer! April, wow. April has been a month full of emotional ups and downs, countless tests, and exciting surprises! My parents came to visit and partially move me out this past weekend, and it was so amazing to see them! KEEP READING “April Favorites”
I’m currently on spring break this week (yay!) and I wanted to keep things kind of simple. Right now, I’m in Denver hanging out with my family, enjoying the weather, and taking a nice mental break from college. I don’t have a lot of time to work on a post, so I thought I’d give you a bit of an update about what’s been going on here at Living the Gray Life! I never addressed some of the major changes that I made here, so I thought now would be the perfect time!
I don’t know if you noticed, but Living the Gray Life recently got a complete overhaul. Ok, well it wasn’t super recent, but it was within the last two months. That’s pretty recent, right? Back in January, I made a spur of the moment decision to change my theme! KEEP READING “#OnTheBlog Update”
OK, so I’m very late on this whole Divergent trilogy thing, but you know, at least I got around to reading them at some point. I’ve heard a lot about these books over the years, but from the required readings in high school and the stress and busyness of college, I’ve never sat down to read them. Until now. I picked up these books back in January before I came back to school, and two months later, I finally read one of them.
When the Divergent series first came out, I thought it was going to be exactly like the Hunger Games. If you thought that, or even still think that, it’s actually not true at all. These books do have a similar element to the Hunger Games because they’re set in a post-rebellion time period. KEEP READING “Current Read: Divergent”
The other night before I went to bed, I started thinking about how crazy this world has become. I don’t know about you but if it’s 2 AM, I start thinking about weird stuff and then I just can’t go to sleep. This was one of those nights. Absolute torture for me because I had a major test the next morning at 8 AM. Oh the joys of crazy, late-night thoughts. This post is going to be a little different than my normal college lifestyle posts. This is a partial rant and partially me just trying to figure out this technology-obsessed world.

Wait. It’s already the middle of August. Where did the time go? But, wow! What a crazy past couple of months! I knew 2015 was going to be a big year for me, but I had no idea it would be this big. I thought I’d give a little life update for you all, partially because I didn’t know what else to write about and partially because there’s so many things going on. I was busy meeting Taylor Swift, going to orientation, and working out! KEEP READING “Mid-August Life Update”
