November Goals

november goals 2015

I originally wasn’t going to upload a post today, but then I didn’t want to not upload. I have had so much stuff going on this week and today. I’m going back home for a football game tomorrow and will be returning back at school on Sunday. That means little to no time to do homework or write blog posts! I know! While I was in class this morning (I only have one class on Fridays. What a blessing.), I thought about doing a November goals post. I saw Kenzie from SincerelyKenz did one, check it out here, and I wanted to do one myself!

Almost all of these are just related to my personal life and not blogging. I’m working on a post to go up in December all about my blogging goals and accomplishments of the year!

I have my last accounting before our final next Friday. I’m really nervous. Accounting isn’t my favorite class but I find it super useful. It’s a 9:40 Monday, Wednesday, Friday class and it’s really hard to stay awake! On my last test I made an 80. Considering the circumstances, that’s actually really good! It’s also hard to wrap my head around the idea that an 80 in college is actually great! In high school, it was drilled into my head that I had to make a 93 or above on everything. So, I’m hoping to make at least an 85 on this one!

I need to start studying and preparing for finals. I know finals are a month away, but the sooner I start studying, the easier they will be! I’m one of those people who needs to review a little bit every day to do well on a major test. I also have a few portfolios to put together for two of my classes.

Christmas! I am so excited for the holiday season! I love Christmas music, but I’m trying to make it my goal this year to not start listening to it until the week of Thanksgiving. Also, I need to compile my Christmas list. I don’t know about you, but it seems like my family starts asking about what I want in what seems like July. At least they’re on top of things!

Okay. I know I said this post wasn’t blogging related in the slightest. I, however, lied. This is my one blogging goal for November. I am considering and researching host companies and registering my own domain! I’m a college student, as you know, and don’t have a lot of money to spend every month on hosting. If you have any suggestions, let me know! I need all the help I can get!

Going to they gym this past week/month/semester/life has been a real struggle. I haven’t gone at all this week, and I feel really bad about it. I’ve just been so busy that I haven’t had time, and if I do have free time, the last thing I want to do is go to the gym. So, I want to start going to the gym more. Plus, I have to get ready for all of the calories I am about to consume in the next month and a half! I mean you can’t let those green beans and mashed potatoes go to waste…

What are your goals for this month? I think it’s great to set goals for yourself. Personally it motivates me to actually get out of bed and stop watching “Downton Abbey.” Guys I have an addiction to that show. It’s a problem…

Taking some time outside of CrossFit to drill down and focus on my weightlifting technique. Snatches and cleans have always been a little intimidating and I’ve been scared to push myself on them for fear of injury. Looking forward to seeing how my lifts progress over the next few months!

Oh, and mental health is doing fantastically, too!

@cattyelizabeth5 and I are back after 3 long months, and we’re so excited to share the first episode of season 5 of Girls Talk! It’s a good one and a pretty great way to spend an hour of your quarantine 💁‍♀️

I was 9 months in to my fitness journey, tracked macros like it was my job, and religiously went to the gym 5-6 days a week. Seeing this pop up in my “Memories” was just what I needed today because being stuck at home because of my susceptibility to lung problems and #covid_19 has left me highly unmotivated to workout...
