November Favorites
The end of November is near, and that means holiday season is in full swing, Christmas music is blasting from my speakers, and it’s time for my November favorites! This month has flown by. Do I say that in every monthly favorites post? Probably, but it always seems so true! November marks the beginning of holiday season, at least for me. I restrict myself from listening to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. I can’t wait for December because all of my family is coming in to town and I get to be back at home for an entire month!
I’m going to start out with white fudge Oreos. I don’t know if you’ve ever had them, but if you haven’t, you’re seriously missing out.
My grandfather used to give them to us every year for Christmas. We haven’t gotten them in the past couple years and I forgot how much I love them. Yeah, they’re on the pricier side, but they’re totally worth it. The white fudge totally compliments the chocolate wafer and the cream of the Oreo. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Plus, they’re so rich that you can only really have one at a time.
Over the past month, my face has become very oily. I could get away with not washing my face in the mornings, but when my acne started getting worse and my face was constantly oily, I decided I should probably start washing my face in the mornings. I’ve been using and loving the Clean&Clear Daily Face Cleanser. It smells like sunscreen, and I personally love that smell. I know, I’m a little weird. This does a great job cleaning my face and leaving me almost oil-free throughout the day. Highly recommend!
As I mentioned last month, I have been loving my wax scent warmer. My mom surprised me with these amazing wax tarts from Yankee Candle and Wal-Mart when I came home for the UT vs. USC game. Christmas Cookie is by far my favorite scent ever. North Pole smells like candy canes which really makes it feel like the holidays! Salted Caramel and Sugared Pecans smell just like the seem like they would. Super fragrant and absolutely delicious.
I found this beautiful coffee cup mug in the Target dollar spot. How could I pass this up?? At $3, this mug is adorable and works great with coffee or tea. I have become slightly obsessed with coffee and tea over the past month. Probably because they haven’t turned the heat on in my dorm and it’s a constant 60 degrees or below in my room. In fact, it was 52 degrees when I woke up this morning. Yeah, it’s a little nippy in my room.
These coconut chips have become my obsession. I found these at Target in the dried fruit section. It’s essentially slightly sweetened coconut that has been toasted. I actually went to Target last night and repurchased these because they’re so amazing. And, I don’t feel so bad about eating them because it’s natural!
What have you been loving this past month? Anything holiday related?
