Hello, hello!
So I have a feeling that this is going to be the first in a series covering affordable Amazon activewear… because I have no self-control when it comes to activewear and I’m a broke college student so affordability is a top priority.
I tweeted about this post idea a while ago, and y’all were all about it.
The criteria for these pieces were…
- They must be items that I will actually wear.
- The max I will spend on one piece is $20.
- Pieces should be worn multiple times, not just a one-time-wear kind of thing.
Tanks
I am in love with these. Absolutely in love.
You get three tanks for $21.00. That comes out to $7 a shirt… umm hello… that’s practically unbeatable!
I picked these up in an extra small.
Pros:
- Length – these cover your butt, and for me, that’s a huge bonus
- Long arm holes – personally I love the muscle tank style, and these do just that. I also like that the
arm holes on these go down far enough so you can see my tattoo… - Colors – this could be a pro and a con depending on what colors you like. I love neutrals and a pop of coral/orange. These match that color scheme perfectly
Cons:
- Material – may not last for years to come
Value: 10/10
If you’re looking for some workout shirts that are stylish, comfortable, long enough, and won’t break the bank, these are them. They’re a great addition to your collection and you wont feel horrible if you somehow ruin one of them 🙂
Shorts
These shorts come in so many colors. I picked up black, red, and grey. They have a 3″ inseam. That may be short for some, but it’s perfect for me.
Just like the tanks, I’m in love with these shorts as well.
Pros:
- Length – These aren’t too long and they aren’t too short. They are ‘booty shorts’ as some people might call them. For me, that’s what I like because there’s no excess fabric restricting my movement.
- Material – Fabric seems sturdy and like it will last for a while. At $11ish a pair, that’s a huge plus.
Cons:
- The cameltoe… yeah it’s real with these. It could be because I ordered a size small and they’re definitely tight on me. If you want to avoid this, I might go up a size.
- They show sweat. This isn’t a big deal to me, but if you care about whether or not your pants show sweat, these do.
Value: 9/10
These shorts are perfect for those hot summer days in the gym. They cover just enough, and I love them for my leg days and cardio days. I love them so much and will 100% be purchasing more colors in the future… I might just go up a size to avoid the cameltoe.
What do you think of these kinds of activewear reviews!? I loved making this one for y’all because I got to splurge on some activewear LOL… Have you ever purchased activewear from Amazon?? I’m possibly thinking about including leggings in my next Amazon activewear review… thoughts??
