July 2015 Favorites!

title

Today is July 31st. The final day of this glorious month, and I thought it would be fitting to share with you what I’ve been loving this past month! It’s a small list, but I love every single thing on it.

July 2015 Favorites Zoya Nike FitBit

1. ZOYA NAIL POLISH. I’m a nail polish addict and I love to constantly change my nail color. I recently discovered ZOYA last year when that had an amazing sale going on. This month, I’ve been loving the shades Elodie and Tinsley. I wore Tinsley to meet Taylor Swift. Yes. You read that right. The Taylor Swift. 2. NIKE RUNNING SHOES. I actually got these shoes for my birthday and absolutely LOVE them. They’re super comfortable and I love to work out in them!

3. TURBIE TWIST. These things are amazing. If you don’t have some or have no idea what they are, you need to go to the store and get you a set. It makes my life so much easier. After I got out of the shower, I used to wrap my hair in a normal towel. It would constantly fall off my head when I would try and brush my teeth, etc. Once you wrap your hair in this, it doesn’t move. It won’t fall off your head. Highly highly highly recommend.

4. FRESH FRUIT. Fruit is such an easy and healthy snack. I love to sit down and just eat a whole bowl of cherries or strawberries. At night, I usually cut up a banana and eat that before bed. Watermelon is such a nice refresher after dinner. I don’t think I could make it through summer without fresh fruit.

5. FITBIT CHARGE HR. Finally, my fitbit is probably one of the best investments I’ve ever made. It motivates me to be more active and overall, just healthier. I chose to get the HR version because I wanted to be able to track my heart rate during exercise. I love the silent alarm function. It will make getting up in college a lot easier especially without waking up my roommate.

What are your favorite products for July? I love reading your responses!

Taking some time outside of CrossFit to drill down and focus on my weightlifting technique. Snatches and cleans have always been a little intimidating and I’ve been scared to push myself on them for fear of injury. Looking forward to seeing how my lifts progress over the next few months!

Oh, and mental health is doing fantastically, too!

@cattyelizabeth5 and I are back after 3 long months, and we’re so excited to share the first episode of season 5 of Girls Talk! It’s a good one and a pretty great way to spend an hour of your quarantine 💁‍♀️

I was 9 months in to my fitness journey, tracked macros like it was my job, and religiously went to the gym 5-6 days a week. Seeing this pop up in my “Memories” was just what I needed today because being stuck at home because of my susceptibility to lung problems and #covid_19 has left me highly unmotivated to workout...
