October Favorites
October has been absolutely insane from the devastating floods here in Columbia to Spurrier leaving the football program, it has never seemed to end. In the midst of all of that, I found some stuff that I have been loving this past month! I’ve been introduced to some great music and have become obsessed tea. Here are my October favorites!
Music. I’ve been absolutely obsessed with music this past month. I recently discovered The 1975 and The Struts. They’re both British bands, and I can’t stop listening to them. I’ve also been really into a Spotify playlist called Folk Pop. It’s great to listen to while I’m studying. In love with it.
Scent Warmer. Dorm rooms are small and smells tend to linger for days. I was tired of our room not smelling that great so I decided to invest in a scent warmer. My mom got one from a White Elephant exchange once, but it died after a week of use. I recently purchased this one from Amazon, and it’s great! I found a Banana Pudding scent from Wal-Mart and it’s to die for.
Amazon Fire. When Amazon announced they were going to release a $50 tablet, I knew I had to get it. It’s perfect for watching movies in bed and not having to deal with a laptop overheating. It’s also perfect for viewing slide shows in class along with checking Twitter and Facebook. By the way, I just created a new Twitter just for this blog! Follow me! I’m obsessed. If you want me to do a full review of the tablet, let me know in the comments below!
Nail Polish. This month, I’ve been loving these two China Glaze shades! I recently ordered a ton of polish from Ulta. They were having a great deal on China Glaze and couldn’t pass it up! The lightest shade is called Pack Lightly and the darker shade is called More to Explore. In case you wanted to know how I stay up to date on all of the latest beauty sales, check out Nouveau Cheap!
TEA. Yes, that does deserve to be in all caps right now. I have been obsessed with tea. And when I say obsessed, I mean at least two cups a day. I love trying new teas. I love my pumpkin spice tea, of course, but I’ve really been loving the Lemon Zinger tea and the Peach Passion tea! I talk all about my love for this pumpkin spice tea in THIS post!
What are your favorites for the month of October? I love hearing from you!
