Accepting the Liebster Award!!
So guys, I was nominated for the Liebster Award!! This is my first blogging award, and I couldn’t be happier! I was nominated by the lovely Shreya from The Luxury Belle. The Liebster Award is given to bloggers by other bloggers. So, it basically creates this entire community of bloggers. How fun is that?! Alright, so let’s get into it!
Eleven Questions: The Answers
What inspired you to become a blogger?
I’ve always dreamed of blogging. I thought it would be so cool to write down my thoughts and have people read them. I think that all started when that movie Read It and Weep came out on Disney Channel. But, in this past year, I wanted to start documenting my life. Monumental events were and are occurring. I graduated high school, I went to my senior prom, I went to NYC, I met Taylor Swift, and I’m going to college. I wanted a way to write down all of the memories and experiences, even if they seem insignificant at the current moment. And this blog has morphed into something that I could never have imagined.
Why do you blog about what you blog about?
I blog about college, high school, DIY, or just anything that sparks my interest.
How long have you been blogging?
I started my blog in June of 2015, so about two months.
What is your background?
I’m from Tennessee, but I am attending school in South Carolina.
Is blogging your full-time job?
Nope. At this point, blogging is a hobby.
What makes you keep blogging?
I love the support from the blogging community. It’s such a kind and welcoming place. I feel like we’re all here to help each other grow. And like I said, I want to document my life.
Dream vacation?
I would love to go back and travel around Italy, or just anywhere in Europe to be honest. Or the beach.
Biggest inspiration in life?
I never know how to answer this question. I feel like a plethora of people inspire me, but I can’t choose just one.
Best and worst blogging decision you made?
Actually, I have no idea. My blog hasn’t been around for that long, and I don’t think I’ve made too many bad decisions. Maybe setting up an editorial calendar because now it keeps me to posting three or four times a week, which can a be a little overwhelming.
Would you ever consider re-branding?
Of course! I feel like as a brand, you have to keep up with the times. If your blog looks like it’s stuck in 2002, then a lot of people won’t continue to view your site. Looks have so much to do with how people view your site.
