Perfect Nail Polish for Spring
Spring has sprung! Well, here in Columbia, SC, spring came back at the end of February with 70 degree temperatures, chirping birds, and blooming flowers. As I’ve gotten older, I think I appreciate each season more and more, and this year, spring has been my favorite! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you may know about my slight obsession with nail polish. I love theming my nail polish around the season, and spring is truly my favorite. The pastels, the whites, and the light and bright shades! Check out my spring nail polish must-haves!
For me, I like to splurge on the higher end nail polishes for my fingers. I find that they last so much longer and don’t have the tendency to chip as quick as the cheaper, drugstore alternatives. I totally understand if a $9 bottle of nail polish isn’t in your budget because, to be honest, it’s not in mine either! Ulta usually runs clearance sales on nail polish collections about six months after that season ended. Sally’s Beauty is also a great place to look for clearance nail polishes. About a year ago I was able to score an entire collection for only $12. That’s 12 bottles of China Glaze polish for $12. Basically unheard of! So, if you want to grow your collection of higher end nail polish, keep an eye out for sales!
Dashboard Dreamer by China Glaze is a beautiful light blue shade with specks of tiny glitter.
Elodie by Zoya is such a great pink. Even though it comes off a lot darker on camera, I love this shade not only for spring, but for all year.
Taylor by Zoya is my go to nude shade. Granted it’s a little on the warm side for my olive green Italian skin, but with a nice tan, it looks amazing!
More to Explore by China Glaze is a great peach shade! I love this for spring because it adds a pop of color without being too overpowering.
Boho Blues by China Glaze is my all-time favorite blue for spring. I love how it’s a little darker than the majority of spring colors, but it still adds such a great pop of color.
What are some of your favorite nail polish colors for spring? Like I said, I’m always looking for new shades to try!
