March Favorites
Hello friends! Wow, another month has passed. I honestly still feel like I graduated high school like last week, but umm yeah that was almost a year ago. It’s crazy how time flies! This month was full of adventures and fun times. Again, just like last month, I’m including a monthly recap which is just below the cover picture. So, let’s get in to my monthly favorites!
Monthly Recap
March was such a fun and exciting month! I traveled all by myself to Denver, Colorado, for spring break and had a blast! I also only have about five more weeks of school left so that’s super exciting! I’m so ready to get out of this dorm, be able to shower in my own shower, eat real food that’s not full of high fructose corn syrup and preservatives, and be able to sleep without being woken at 3 AM because drunk people are screaming in the halls. Oh how fun living in a dorm has been! I am also officially an RM (resident mentor) for next year. I got my paperwork and it’s all official. What have you been up to this past month?
FitBit
I feel like I’ve mentioned my FitBit in so many favorites posts that it’s not even a surprise any more. I’ve really been into wearing it this month to track my sleep and steps. I find it so much fun to try to achieve my step goal on a daily basis. That makes consuming Chic-fil-a seem a little more reasonable.
I also have a comprehensive review of the FitBit HR on my blog (it’s been up for a while) and I go over all of the pros and cons of it! I also update it periodically to let you know how and if I’m still loving it.
Nike
Since spring break, I’ve been getting back into working out and getting outside more! I love my Nikes to walk around campus (15,000+ steps a day can really wear on your feet), work out, and wear on a daily basis. They’re so supportive and I can’t live without them now!
I wore these all the time in Colorado when we would go on outdoor adventures and they served me well!
Kombucha
This tea is heavenly. In case you have zero clue as to what kombucha is, it is a fermented tea drink that is naturally fizzy. They sell it at our campus market and it’s become quite a problem for me.
This stuff is a great alternative to soda, as it has a lot fewer calories and sugar! If you try it out, let me know how you like it!
BelVita
These things are my new favorite breakfast alternatives for when I’m on the go. Some days I have time to sit down, make myself a bowl of oatmeal, and enjoy the new Casey Neistat vlog, but some days I don’t. On those days I usually grab one of these and a coffee and I’m all set for several hours. These tend to hold me over for a long while unlike some other breakfast bars I’ve tried.
My current favorite flavor is the cranberry orange that is pictured above. This seriously tastes like I’m eating a slice of cranberry orange bread (which I love)! Highly suggest checking these out, especially if you’re a college student who is always on the go.
Wireless Speaker
This wireless speaker gives me life. I’m the kind of person that can’t focus in complete silence and I constantly need some form of music in the background. I got this little speaker last year for Christmas and I’m in love with it!
Here is the link on Amazon. It’s only around $35 and it’s such a great investment. The sound quality is amazing and it has a decent battery life. This is great for a dorm as well because it’s so small and compact!
What have you been loving this past month? Anything super special? If you have a monthly favorites post make sure to leave it below so I can check it out!
