Back-to-School College Haul

Back-to-school College Haul | College dorm room essentials

Welcome back! Today’s post is one of my favorites strictly because of the cover photo. Isn’t that a beautiful flat lay? Also I just discovered that berry/mauve color is complementary to my mint green that I use and I’m kinda obsessed. Anyways, now that my mini excited rant is over, lets get on to this awesome haul!

Today’s post is short & sweet so I hope you don’t mind.

I don’t know about y’all but I love to watch and read anything back-to-school related. I also love watching and reading haul videos and posts. Combine back-to-school with hauls and I’m sold.

A little update…

As you’re reading this, I’m in the midst of packing up my life and moving back to USC for my junior year.

*slightly dying inside*

First off, how do I have so much stuff. I swear I did not bring this much stuff back with me when I moved in May. But here we are again, three months later, with two full cars stuffed to the brim with unnecessary items.

Just kidding, they’re necessary. I mean six coffee mugs is a must for one single person, right?

I’m thrilled to see what my junior year has to offer, and I already have so many ideas for posts and videos it’s not even funny. OH, and don’t even get me started on football season, flannels, and Thanksgiving.

Back to the post

We’re switching things up a bit in this post because it was way easier for me to film a video than take pictures of everything I bought. I’m trying to step up my YouTube game, so this is a start.  Hope you enjoy the video!

This year my focus is less of school supplies and unnecessary dorm items, and more of kitchen and dorm/college must-haves.

I’m no longer on the meal plan so a lot of the items I bought this year are for me and all of my meal prep needs. Pots, pans, bowls, baking sheets, utensils. I have it all, and I’m stoked to bring some meal prep posts to the blog!

I also couldn’t pass up a cute coffee mug and some fancy pillows. My dorm room this year is going to be ~magical~ and I can’t wait to get a dorm tour up as soon as everything is situated.

If you’re moving back to college soon, good luck and don’t let it stress you out too much! When are you headed back and where are you living this year? On campus? Off campus? At home?

Taking some time outside of CrossFit to drill down and focus on my weightlifting technique. Snatches and cleans have always been a little intimidating and I’ve been scared to push myself on them for fear of injury. Looking forward to seeing how my lifts progress over the next few months!

Oh, and mental health is doing fantastically, too!

@cattyelizabeth5 and I are back after 3 long months, and we’re so excited to share the first episode of season 5 of Girls Talk! It’s a good one and a pretty great way to spend an hour of your quarantine 💁‍♀️

I was 9 months in to my fitness journey, tracked macros like it was my job, and religiously went to the gym 5-6 days a week. Seeing this pop up in my “Memories” was just what I needed today because being stuck at home because of my susceptibility to lung problems and #covid_19 has left me highly unmotivated to workout...
