Thanksgiving Outfits & Another Photoshoot

Here we are, back again with another photoshoot shot on the historic Horseshoe. It’s finally cold here in Columbia, and I just couldn’t wait to take some photos in sweaters! My lovely co-worker and BFF took these pictures, and I’m so thrilled with how they turned out. Even though we did a fall shoot about a month ago, the leaves were still green which didn’t lead to a very festive, fall look. The leaves are now changing and the picture opportunities are endless.

These are a couple looks that I am planning on wearing this year for Thanksgiving. Sweaters are essential and the heeled booties add a little spice to an otherwise boring outfit. Both sweaters were purchased from Target last year and the booties are from Old Navy this year.

September Recap

Y’all how in the world is it already October?? I swear just yesterday it was August and I was in residence life training. It feels like I blink and three months have gone by. The days seem like they last forever but the weeks are flashing by. I’m sad to see the summer end, but I’m pumped for cold mornings, blanket scarves, and everything pumpkin.

A Day in Chattanooga

Chattanooga, Tennessee, is one of those places that everyone should visit at least once in their life. There’s anything and everything outdoorsy to do, the local food places are delicious, and the aquarium is top-notch. When I went home to surprise my dad for his birthday (which went really well), I thought I was just going to be hanging out at home with the family. Instead, we took a quick day trip down to Chattanooga for my brother’s climbing meet. I’ve lived in Knoxville my entire life and have only taken the short hour and a half drive down to Chattanooga once in my life.

That was back when I was about seven and my parents took my brother and I to the aquarium. While the aquarium is great, there’s so much more that Chattanooga has to offer that I wasn’t concerned about at seven years old. I’m so hooked on Chattanooga now, and I can’t wait for the next time I go back! So what’d I do this time around in Chattanooga?

Blogger Buddies Mail Unboxing #2

I cannot believe that it’s been an entire month since my last Blogger Buddies snail mail post! In case you have no idea what Blogger Buddies is, I’ll go ahead and give you a brief run-down. Each month you are paired up with a different blogger and you exchange information and get to know each other over the course of the month. By the 20th of that given month, you send out a letter to them! A majority of the members are college bloggers like myself, but there’s really no age limit. You receive a different pen pal each month, and then by the 20th of whatever month it currently is, you send a letter to your pen pal! It’s a great way to get to know the blogger community, and it’s such a wonderful support system! KEEP READING “Blogger Buddies Mail Unboxing #2”
