Blogger Secret Santa

This year I participated in a Blogger Secret Santa! This was the first annual Secret Santa hosted by Oliva from NC Prepsters and Cathleen from Classy Cathleen. We used this website called Sneaky Santa to automatically select Secret Santas. Once we found out who we were shopping for, we had until the 15th of December to send out our packages! Mine arrived last Friday and this is what my Secret Santa got me!

She included all of the gifts in this adorable felt Santa bag! This was such a cute idea. I wish I had thought of that!

Christmas Album Favorites

Ahhh! There’s only three days until Christmas! I hope all of you are having a great time not having to study for finals and just relaxing and hanging out with your family. I know I’ve really enjoyed being home and being able to catch up on sleep! Since it’s the week of Christmas, I thought I’d share my favorite Christmas albums. I mean it is the week of Christmas. It’s basically a rule that you have to listen to Christmas music 24/7!

Christmas Cookie Round-Up

One of my favorite parts about the holiday season is all of the baking! I love baking, and being in college, I am deprived of delicious, homemade baked goods. So, I take full advantage of my time at home and making amazing cookies, cakes, brownies, you name it. I originally wanted to do a Christmas room tour, but if you watch my vlogs, you know I didn’t really decorate my room this year. And then, I wanted to do a gingerbread cookie post. Well I’ve run out of time and that’s a lot of effort in baking and decorating the cookies, let alone trying to photograph each step without getting my camera covered in batter or icing.

To keep things a little cleaner and a lot less sticky, I decided to do a Christmas cookie round-up! I love doing these because it’s a ton of recipes all in one place. Check out my favorites below. (All of the pictures link directly to the source blog and each blog is hyperlinked in the caption)

Gift Wrapping Ideas

One of my favorite parts about the holiday is wrapping gifts. I love how festive it makes the room with gifts piled under the tree. Not to mention, but holiday wrapping paper can make very festive decor! This is kind of a part two to my Secret Santa gift ideas post, and I’m going to show you how I like to wrap my presents!

I like my gifts to all have a cohesive look, but I don’t like them to all be in the same wrapping paper. I know, I’m very picky. Target makes this super easy though! And, no, I’m not sponsored by Target in any way, shape, or form, although I would love to be. I found these wrapping papers in a set of four, and guess what… they all match!

Secret Santa Gift Ideas

It seems that every year, Secret Santa becomes more and more popular. And to be honest, I love it! This year I am taking part in a blogger Secret Santa, and these are some of the items I got for mine! I’m actually really excited with how it all turned out. These ideas are in no way just for bloggers, in fact, they will work for just about anyone! (Also, as I was editing these pictures, some of them are out of focus and I have no idea why. Technology, again, just didn’t want to cooperate.)

Stationery. This is a no-brainer for bloggers. We love cute stationery to take pictures of and just have around. Tuesday Morning has a wonderful selection of tumblr-worthy stationery, and they’re really affordable! That’s a plus, especially for a college student.
