DIY Christmas Ornaments

With Christmas less than two weeks away, I thought it was time for some DIY ornaments!! I love DIYs and holiday DIYs are even better. Today I’m going to show you how to make a monogrammed ornament and an adorable gold pine cone ornament. Also, if you check out my vlog channel, you can see all of the behind-the-scenes of me making these! (Plus I’m doing VLOGMAS and you should totally check that out!)

Both of these ornaments use very little supplies! Which is great for anyone running on a budget. Alright, let’s get into it!

Christmas Wishlist 2015

AHHHH! Guys, it’s that time of year again! It’s time for Christmas wishlist season. Technically it’s been Christmas wishlist season for me since the beginning of October because my family likes to have their shopping done with way before December. As I said in my Black Friday wishlist post, I always love reading and looking through posts like this because then it gives me ideas about what to ask for. Hope you enjoy! And, today is exactly two weeks until Christmas!!

christmas wishlist 2015

I’m just going to start out with the big item. This year I’m asking for a new computer. My computer only has about a two hour battery life and it’s getting slower and slower every day. It’s also from my freshman year of high school, so it is getting pretty old.

Five Vloggers to Watch During VLOGMAS!

The month of December is probably one of my most favorite months out of the entire year. So many fun and festive things occur, and there’s nothing like the feeling of the holiday spirit. Aside from decorating, sending cards, watching Christmas movies, and listening to Christmas music 24/7, I LOVE watching people’s Vlogmas videos. Vlogmas is similar to Blogmas except it is for vlogging!

vlogmas vloggers to watch

I recently started vlogging, and I am partaking in Vlogmas for the first time this year! I love vlogging, editing, and uploading and when you throw Christmas into the mix, I mean can it really get any better?

My Six Month Blogiversary

On December 4th, 2015 my blog is officially 6th months old! When I started this blog, I never thought I would get this far. Ok, so maybe I haven’t gotten that far in the grand scheme of the blogging world, but I’m pretty impressed with my 600+ monthly page views at the moment. In case you have absolutely no clue what a blogiversary is, it’s an abbreviated term for blog anniversary. Who wants to say blog anniversary? Blogiversary sounds so much more bloggerish. Us bloggers like to combine and make up new words. Anyways, today I wanted to share my accomplishments with you! I really enjoy reading these posts because I can see where other bloggers came from and that we all didn’t get thousands of page views overnight (although that does happen).

Blogging in general has been a big accomplishment for me. Usually I start some form of online social thing, either a blog or a YouTube channel, and I get discouraged because I don’t see results.

Christmas Dorm Decor

It’s December 1st! Well, when I’m writing this it’s December 1st… That means it’s time for holiday everything. Music, decorations, and sweaters. I wanted to add some festivity to my dorm room, but because I’m limited on space, a Christmas tree just isn’t feasible. All of these decorations are made strictly with construction paper or plain printer paper. Why spend a ton on decorations when you’re just going to have to store them in your already small dorm room? Not only do the decorations take up little to no space, they’re also recyclable. When the holiday season is over, you can just throw these little guys in the recycle bin! (Not the trash. We’re trying to be environmentally friendly here.)

Before I begin, I want to apologize for how not in focus some of the images are. I tried my best to get sharp images, but my camera just did not want to cooperate with me.

2015 Holiday Gift Guide

If there’s one time of year that I love the most, it’s the holiday season. This is actually my first post of the holiday season! I cannot wait for all of the posts I have planned for December. You better be ready. Anyways, back to the point of this post. I love looking at gift guides and wishlists because they always seem to have something for everyone. Now this gift guide isn’t specifically for bloggers, but these are the things that we like. I think any of these gifts would work well for really any girl. You can click on all of the images in this post and it will take you directly to the website where I found them! Enjoy!

For friends, I really like to focus on things that they’ll use on an everyday basis or would be helpful in their life. I keep track of things that they say they’d like whenever we’re out, and then I can go back later and surprise them! I’d much rather give them something like stationery or makeup brushes than a gift card somewhere.
