Make A’s in College: A Review

We’re now in the heart of the semester, and I can tell you that I am 100% feeling the stress of it. What about you? I’m worried about midterm results, quiz grades, and the looming final exams. I know that I want to do well this semester (particularly make A’s) and keep my stress levels as low as possible. I’m one to develop migraines during stressful times, and I do not want to experience that, haha. This post is a review of As Life Grows new e-course called “Make A’s in College in 8 Days!”

Using an Editorial Calendar

An editorial calendar is essential to my blogging schedule and my sanity. If you’re not using one, you should be. And if you are, maybe this post will give you some ideas on how to improve yours! A editorial calendar provides an easy way to consistently upload posts and keep yourself accountable for staying on top of your blog. If you’re someone who needs everything scheduled out, an editorial calendar is for you. If you’re someone who wants to start a blog, an editorial calendar is for you. If you’re someone who wants to improve their blog, an editorial calendar is for you.

editorial calendar for blogging

When I first started becoming serious about blogging back in July of 2015, I really didn’t see why and editorial calendar was important. I thought it was weird that people planned posts weeks and months in advance. Didn’t that take something away from blogging?

The Power of Friendship

So, Valentine’s Day is coming up, and guess who’s single…again. Me. But, that’s ok! Because I have the support of such amazing friends, it makes Valentine’s Day a bit more bearable. So, this post is kind of different than my usual college this or college that. Today I’m going to be talking about what friendship has meant to me in the past year, especially since graduating high school. I felt that this would be good to go up a couple of days before Valentine’s Day because being single on Valentine’s Day can bring you down. I want to let all those single ladies (and guys) out there that you don’t need a relationship to be happy. Friends are really important, so show them some love this Valentine’s Day!

power of friendship

Friends. You can’t live without them, and sometimes, you can’t live with them. You know, I’ve learned a lot about myself and the relationships I have with people since entering the world of adulthood. I’ve learned who to keep in my life and who I just have to let go. I always struggle with the letting go part.

4 Things to Do Besides Watching Netflix

This year, I made the stereotypical New Year’s goal to be more healthy. Now, I know a ton of people make this goal and fail epically. But, I am determined not to. So far, I’m almost a month in and still going strong! Part of this goal that I didn’t mention in my post is to limit my time on electronics, specifically before bed.

alternatives to nextflix

I used to watch hours and hours of YouTube videos before going to bed. Not only is this unhealthy, but it is wasting so much of your valuable time! So, to combat this, I’ve compiled a list of 5 things you can do before bed instead of watching Netflix!

Staying Healthy in College

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not some salad-loving, exercise junkie. I’m a college student. I love a nice bowl of ramen at midnight or a spontaneous large milkshake from Marble Slab. I’ve tried so hard to avoid gaining that notorious Freshman 15, and I’ve really only gained about 8ish pounds. I attribute some of that to muscle. Walking 20,000+ steps a day will do wonders to your legs . But, after spending my first semester bingeing on ramen and candy and chips, I’ve learned to change my ways.

tips for staying healthy in college

Let me just start out by saying that claiming you want to “be healthy” is a lot harder than it seems. Being healthy is a lifestyle change. It doesn’t happen overnight or in a week or even in a month. It takes 21 days to break a habit, and an unhealthy lifestyle is a habit.

Oh, and mental health is doing fantastically, too!

@cattyelizabeth5 and I are back after 3 long months, and we’re so excited to share the first episode of season 5 of Girls Talk! It’s a good one and a pretty great way to spend an hour of your quarantine 💁‍♀️

I was 9 months in to my fitness journey, tracked macros like it was my job, and religiously went to the gym 5-6 days a week. Seeing this pop up in my “Memories” was just what I needed today because being stuck at home because of my susceptibility to lung problems and #covid_19 has left me highly unmotivated to workout...
