SEC College Football Game Experience!

game day at the University of South Carolina Williams Brice Stadium

IT’S GAME DAY!!! Well it’s probably not game day when you’re reading this, but I had to start out like that for excitement purposes. College football is HUGE in the south. Saturdays are dedicated strictly to SEC football and only SEC football. I would say that college football is bigger than the NFL in the south. Want to know what game day is like in the south? Then keep reading!

I go to the University of South Carolina, one of the 14 SEC schools, school spirit on game day is insane. It’s all over snapchat and YikYak. People are honking and screaming the entire day. And, everyone is dressed in garnet and/or black. I’ve never been to a college football game in my 18 years of being on Earth, and I attended my first game on September 12th, 2015. It was one of the best experiences of my life.

Five Inspirational Quotes

Inspirational quotes by John Green Albert Einstein

// Hey everyone! I’m finally back! I decided to take a week off to focus on school and creating more quality blog posts for you all. In my opinion, quality is better than quantity. School has been a bit overwhelming as I’m transitioning from high school to college, but I’m getting through it. I think I’ve finally developed a schedule that works for me. A schedule that fits in blogging, homework, and going to the gym. Thank you all for sticking with me! Can’t wait to get this blog running again!

Quotes are some of my favorite things. I love how impactful they can be. Some can make you laugh. Some can make you cry. Some can make you smile. Some can inspire you. I’ve compiled a list of my top five, and I hope you enjoy!

FitBit Charge HR Review

FitBit Charge HR Review

I love my FitBit Charge HR. I raved about it in my July favorites, and I was really close to including it in my August favorites. I figured that including it in two back to back monthly favorites would be a bit much, but that’s how much I love it! In this post I’m going to cover what I love and dislike about it as well as a brief overview as to what it does!

Going Home for the Weekend!

First Weekend back at home from college

This past weekend was Labor Day, and it was my first time visiting home while in college! I was on the fence for a while about whether or not I wanted to go home. I love college, and I didn’t want to leave. I had already decided that the next time I would be visiting home would be over Thanksgiving break.

First Week of College: A Reflection

First Week of College @ the University of South Carolina

College is amazing. People say this is the best time of your life, and I totally believe them. Everyone is so nice and the energy here is overwhelming. I cannot believe that I’ve been here for two whole weeks! Where did the time go?! This week was my first full week of classes, and it was exhausting. I wrote a post about my first day of college, but I also wanted to do one talking about my first full week of class.

August 2015 Favorites!

August 2015 Favorites Target Notebooks and Zoya Nail Polish

I can’t believe that August is over! This month has been crazy. Filled with so many ups and downs. It’s basically been an emotional roller coaster. I moved away from home. Not just like down the road, but I moved four hours away. To a whole new state. A whole new city. And I didn’t know anyone. I was so nervous and so excited at the same time, but let me tell you, I’m so glad I left. I’ve had so many experiences here that I wouldn’t have had if I would’ve stayed in my hometown.

For this month, I’ve compiled a list of favorites. It was hard to come up with them because all of my favorites I wanted to include in my dorm essentials post. I’ve narrowed it down, and so, here are my August favorites!
