Three easy ways to drink more water. Drinking water is a easy way to be more healthy.

We all know that water is good for us, right? We all know that we probably don’t drink enough water. We all know that we should drink more water, but a majority of us never get around to it. Drinking more water usually ends up on people’s New Year’s resolutions as a part of their goal to be healthier in the new year. And just like most New Year’s resolutions, they disappear by the end of January.

I know people who never drink water. They survive off of juice, sodas, teas, and coffee. Anything and everything but water because they “don’t like water.”

You don’t like water? You mean you don’t like the substance that provides life and makes up 60% of your body?

My friends Gabby and Hannah over at The Swirl Blog published THIS amazing post the other week, and I thought to myself, “Oh my gosh I need to do one of these, too!” Hannah included some amazing essential college items definitely worth the splurge, so I thought I’d add on to her selections.

I cover everything that those college guides tell you you should buy, but in reality you either don’t need them, or there are much better, cheaper alternatives out there!

Happy Friday, y’all! I’m really excited about today’s post because I’m about to get super real with you. I keep things pretty open here on the blog and on my social medias as well, but most of the time what you see are the happy moments, the “yearbook” moments, and the moments where I’m at my best. It’s just sadly the way social media works.

It’s easy to take a look at my Instagram and think I have my life together, every single one of my workouts is high-quality, and my diet is always on point.

Fitness Finds: Summer 2017

I’ve never been a huge shopper. I’ve never been one to constantly want to buy new clothes. I’m the person who still wears clothes from the 8th grade because they still fit and plain t-shirts never go out of style… or at least that’s what I tell myself. But y’all I think I’ve finally found my weakness when it comes to clothes and that is athletic wear.

Somehow I find myself at Marshall’s on almost a weekly basis searching for new workout gear. Do I need more leggings? No. Do I need more sports bras? No. Do I need more shirts? No. But somehow I still end up walking out with something almost every time.

Taking some time outside of CrossFit to drill down and focus on my weightlifting technique. Snatches and cleans have always been a little intimidating and Iโ€™ve been scared to push myself on them for fear of injury. Looking forward to seeing how my lifts progress over the next few months!

Oh, and mental health is doing fantastically, too!

I was 9 months in to my fitness journey, tracked macros like it was my job, and religiously went to the gym 5-6 days a week. Seeing this pop up in my โ€œMemoriesโ€ was just what I needed today because being stuck at home because of my susceptibility to lung problems and #covid_19 has left me highly unmotivated to workout...
I honestly forgot how productive I am whenever I w I honestly forgot how productive I am whenever I work from a coffee shop โ˜•๏ธ No pantry full of food, no comfy bed, and no opportunity to take a nap. Working from home is great and all, but it can be so distracting ๐Ÿ˜‚
